A sweet Saturday in Provincetown, MA
When: Saturday, August 4th, 2017
Where: Pronvincetown, Cape Cod, MA
Last weekend Jon and I took a day trip to Provincetown which sits at the very tip of Cape Cod. For anyone who wants to get out of the city for a day or is visiting Boston for an extended period of time, this little excursion is so fun. The Boston Harbor Cruise Provincetown Fast Ferry is ~$80 round trip per person and only takes 90 minutes each way. If you're lucky you might see some whales in the Boston Harbor on your way there. If you want to explore the beaches (which you should), you can also bring your bike for $16 or rent when you get there.
Neither of us had been to Provincetown before last weekend and quickly discovered the hype is real. It's such a wonderful little New England spot with all the quintessential Cape Cod architecture and decor. It's warm and welcoming atmosphere doesn't go unnoticed - perfect for just about anyone from bachelorette parties, to families, to couples and is well known for it's awesome gay culture. Right when we got off the ferry we were greeted by a local farmers market where we picked up peaches (not pictured - my questionable peach cobbler). The highlight of the trip was tandem biking to Racepoint Beach where we laid out for hours enjoying the perfect weather and softest warm sand.
Hope you all are having a great start to your August and as always, thanks for reading!
